Why I Love Jott!

Jott entered my life on April 16th, 2008 and I’m head over heals in love.

Who is Jott? Moreover it’s what is Jott!

Jott is a web-based service, free (for now?) that allows you to send memo messages to yourself by voice using your cell phone, and you can send voice to e-mail memos to almost any of your contacts, other web-based services like your Google Calendar, Twitter and others.

I find myself sending memos to myself whenever I’m thinking of them. Need to remember an event, something to add to your task list, whatever. Just before writing this I sent myself a reminder to bill out a client project, and RSVP for a niece’s graduation ceremony coming up in two weeks.

Send a Jott now, it’s easy by simply calling 1-866-JOTT123 from your cell phone. After your enrolled, verify your e-mail, add your contacts and your ready to go.

When calling Jott, you will be asked who you want to Jott. Say “myself” to send a Jott memo to yourself. After the tone, speak your memo clearly and when done, simply stop talking. Jott will confirm that it got your message and then it will ask if you want a reminder. If yes, say yes and then the day and time you want a reminder. When done hang up or wait a second to leave another Jott. You can leave any number of separate Jotts.

You’re at the Doctor, and you set your next appointment. A quick call to Jott, say Google Calendar. Add your appointment, say date and time. Add a reminder and your done. No more forgetting an appointment.

You will find yourself quickly in love with Jott as well. Sign up by phone like in the example above or visit www.jott.com to sign up today.
