The Three Month SEO Rule

When working with your sites search engine optimization, the three month SEO rule is as follows;

“Making changes to your website, even simple changes such as the placement of your logo, the addition or removal of a block of text, any change no matter how small can affect your search ranking. The effects, whether ‘positive or negative’ won’t be fully realized for three months.” Says Nick J. West CRO of Blue Bayou, Llc.

What this tells you is that making changes to your website should be structured so that when you suddenly rank better, or suddenly rank worse you can analyze what was done so you can continue on that path, or quickly and strategically reverse course.

As always, use sound SEO practices but at least you know about how long it may take to see an effect from your change.
