Why Can’t I Undo Send E-mail?
Beyond the obvious, the reason you can’t undo send e-mail is simply that you don’t have the e-mail once it’s sent, so there is nothing to unsend.
A new feature from Gmail allows you to unsend, or at least pause and hold e-mail for 5 seconds before it actually is sent once you hit the send button.
Forgot to include an important phone number or, forgot an attachment? The new Gmail feature does allow you to regain control of the e-mail and continue composing if your able to hit undo send within that 5 second window.
In many personal cases this has proven to be ample time to grab it, edit and send it on its way with whatever it was I forgot or needed to fix.
