I am a big fan of Jott. Though I no longer subscribe to Jott, I love the services that Jott introduced to the masses and I sincerely hope they continue surprising us with even more great stuff.

The recent re-branding of Jott to Jott Assistant got me thinking of an even better product, as a free service provided by Google. I am only suggesting that Google would be wise to acquire Jott, like that of Grand Central which became Google Voice. The merging of the two systems together would make one hell of a great product.

Google Voice has allowed us to finally gain control of our office phones. By forwarding our main number through Google Voice, and then blocking the usual cast of repeated annoyance callers, now when the phone rings, we can usually expect it to be a paying customer or potential client on the other end.

I can only begin to imagine the control and organization that could be accomplished from a Jott-Google Voice type service. For now, I will just continue to dream.
