Google Apps is launching a billboard campaign in four major cities this week. What makes this ad campaign unique is that the billboards message changes once each day over the 30 day period.

Problems begin with the fact that shopping cart systems, even the top line ones use one helluva lot of memory and server resources. So 10-20 of the customers on Server (A) actually develop their stores, and one or two are lucky enough to see traffic begin to build and suddenly, the whole server comes to a screeching halt because each store can’t handle more than 4-6 visitors at a time without reaching an error page. Most unfortunately find out during the crucial fourth quarter but by then it’s to late to recover for the season.

Social networks are still in their infancy, and many of what today are considered must-do aspects of social networking may not hold water in the near future. The friend aspect however, being the core should not change much, only in the way that freinds connect.

Google Voice has allowed us to finally gain control of our office phones. By forwarding our main number through Google Voice, and then blocking the usual cast of repeated annoyance callers, now when the phone rings, we can usually expect it to be a paying customer or potential client on the other end.

Forgot to include an important phone number or, forgot an attachment? The new Gmail feature does allow you to regain control of the e-mail and continue composing if your able to hit undo send within that 5 second window.
