Using Google Gears, an add-on tool that allows approved third party developed applications to work together with Google and your browser to deliver better speed and utilities. Then, when you connect with your account online, it quietly synchronizes and backs up your e-mail onto your desktop computer or laptop. Working with e-mail, writing and reading your old e-mail while not connected to the Internet is a breeze, and the next time you connect with an Internet connection it updates, sends and receives any new e-mail.
