If at all possible, choose a dot com domain name. Think outside the box and change up the spelling, come up with a new word entirely. Sometimes, it only makes sense to go with dot net. If your selling widgets, and widgets.com is taken, widgets.net may be acceptable. The problem comes when the owner of the dot com see’s your success, he may attempt to copy it and easily take part of your hard earned market share.

I recently began using an app with my reQall account (voice-to-text like Jott) called Xpenser. What’s great about Xpenser is that you can track your everyday purchases and expenses, coffee and danish, cab fare to a client meeting (for billing later) concert tickets, dinners and impulse purchases simply by sending them to your Xpenser account by text, IM, SMS, e-mail, Twitter, just about any messaging service.
Organizing your expenses can then be done later online through an intuitive interface. Simple commands like ‘Lunch 54.23 with John D,’ are automatically recognized by the system.

Purchasing a stand alone system runs $195.00 as a one-time expense, and there’s never another fee other than your existing web hosting bandwidth. You can also opt to lease the system and send unlimited e-mailers up to 10,000 subscribers for a flat rate of only $22 a month from Blue Bayou. Interested in more information? Call Nick at: 404-567-6095 weekdays, 10am-4pm MDT.

If all your website is going to do at the beginning is to be a business card or information website about the business, maybe a few contact forms or information points. Maybe even a login area to access data or subscribe to a newsletter, then a basic hosting package under $20, and as low and $9.00 may very well handle the clients website needs.

Advancing beyond just a toolbar, Google announced it’s new browser called “Chrome”. Nothing we didnt know was coming, but to see it take so blatently from other browsers like Opera is a suprise.
